The Honorary Golden Badge

The Honorary Golden Badge

In the history of the Kingdom, a special place belongs to distinctions that commemorate not a single event or achievement, but years of belonging to the state and loyalty to it over time.

The Honorary Golden Badge is a commemorative award intended exclusively for citizens of the Kingdom of North Barchant. It is conferred on the occasion of five or ten years of impeccable citizenship, becoming a symbol of a citizen’s long-standing connection with the Kingdom and its history.

The badge is made of 14-carat gold and weighs 14 grams, framed with a laurel wreath and a red enamel border. At its centre is the coat of arms of the Kingdom of North Barchant. According to the established rules, the badge is worn on the right lapel of the suit and is valid only with a Kingdom of North Barchant passport.

A distinctive feature of this award is that its holder may choose how to wear it: the badge may be worn either openly or discreetly, at the discretion of the owner.

As of 2026, 175 citizens of the Kingdom of North Barchant have been awarded the Honorary Golden Badge.

This award reflects another important aspect of North Barchant’s state tradition: the history of the Kingdom is shaped not only by significant events and official decisions, but also by the years during which its citizens remain part of the state, sharing its journey and preserving their connection with it.
